▓█ to the fact LAME has gapless playback tags. Though it is possible to ██
▓█ have proper VBR splitting with pcut (almost all other splitting apps do ██
▓█ not properly insert the VBR/Xing tag, resulting in a file with messed ██
▓█ seek info), rules should be modified so it is at the discretion of the ██
▓█ group what format to rip in and first format wins the race. These type ██
▓█ of releases require the user to perform post-processing of the release ██
▓█ if they want to put a specific file on a Digital Audio Player since very ██
▓█ few portable players currently support .cue playback, which some people ██
▓█ might do in this specific instance since there are tracks here exclusive ██
▓█ to the soundtrack. Why go through all that work when it could have been ██
▓█ split in the first place? We do realize those in the ██
▓█ Dance/Techno/Electronic scene regularly encounter this and generally ██
▓█ prefer to hear the mix in its entirety, which is why it should be up to ██
▓█ the group what format to rip in as they see fit. ██
